Farmoor Reservoir : update
Great White Egret and Jack Snipe were seen twice over the last week. Wildfowl seen in this period included two Goosander, Shelduck and the female Scaup. Great Northern Diver still present. Siskin flock increasing daily with fifty plus seen feeding on the Alders along the Thames, joined by a few Redpolls in the last few days. At least four Stonechats in the area. Sadly a Barn Owl was found dead, hopefully other will return to areas where normally they are seen. Good news is that a Little Owl is back in the area.
