Farmoor : update
Highlight at Farmoor over the last week has been a pair of Garganey which were first seen on Pinkhill early morning on the 20th moving to Shrike Meadow on the 26th. Other new birds for the Farmoor 2022 year list seen in this period were Wheatear, Swallow, Little Ringed Plover and a Osprey which was seen by Roger and Sue this afternoon.

Farmoor Reservoir : update 13/03/2022
Highlights over the last few days included two Rock Pipits and a Jack Snipe otherwise fairly quiet. Goosanders seen daily on the River Thames. The first Sand Martins of the year seen today were ten days later than last year when one was seen on the 3rd March. A Ringed Plover present today was also a new birds for the year list. Other waders seen in this period included single Redshank, Oystercatcher, Common Sandpiper and three Dunlin today. Great Northern Diver still present
