Good period for waders this June with a Grey Plover found on the 6th being only the second June record for Farmoor this century, the other was on the 5th June 2009. Also a Geenshank seen on the 3rd was an unseasonal record. Good numbers of Sanderlings seen up to the 15th, Redshank, Dunlin, Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Ringed Plover, Little Ringed Plover and Common Sandpiper also seen in this period.
A blog of the birds that I seen on my visits to Farmoor Reservoir Oxfordshire. I also keep a list of birds that I seen here when with my dog Billy.

Farmoor 30th and 31st May.
A Black Tern seen yesterday was only the second recorded here this year, making it a very poor year. Waders seen in this period included Sanderling, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover and a Greenshank.
